Our community services in Montréal-Nord

Our community services

At the Centre Communautaire Espoir et Solidarité de Montréal-Nord, our services are structured around three fundamental axes: Family, Education and Better Living Together. Each of these axes guides our projects to strengthen and enrich the local community.

Family
We've set up a Food Bank that actively fights food insecurity in Montreal North. For the past three years, this project has been providing weekly support to some 350 families, or nearly 1,500 individuals, thanks to our partnership with Moisson Montréal. Our efforts are aimed at mitigating the impact of rising prices for basic necessities, with a notable increase in the number of beneficiaries each year. In addition, CCESMN deploys initiatives to break isolation among seniors and women, by organizing recreational activities that promote social interaction and well-being.
Education
Recognizing the crucial importance of education for young people's autonomy, we offer tutoring workshops to reinforce skills in key disciplines such as mathematics, English and French. These initiatives help to prevent school drop-out by offering tailored support to young people in difficulty. Over 600 young people have benefited from these programs since our opening in 2021, enhancing their potential for continued education.
Better Living Together
We promote social integration and equity through programs that encourage respect for diversity and courtesy. These programs aim to improve quality of life and create a more harmonious society. We also plan to expand our immigration accompaniment services to better meet the needs of new arrivals, thus reinforcing the integrative aspect of our mission.

Do you need support? We're here for you.

Your well-being is our priority. Together, we'll get through this ordeal.
