Promoting inclusion and solidarity in Montréal-Nord through education and food support.
Prior to its creation, there were three philanthropists, Joseph Dieuconserve, Jean Emmanuel Ersulien and Jean Emmanuel Pierre, who helped young people and adults in Montreal-North with math and French for academic success. They also organized the distribution of food baskets during the Easter and Christmas holidays. With the arrival of the COVID-19 pandemic, the problems facing families in this city are intensifying, according to the findings of several Montreal research institutions. So, after a major community meeting in May 2020, the CCESMN was launched and saw the light of day on September 13, 2021. Since then, it has been serving members of the Montreal North community through activities and programs.
Get involved and make a direct impact on the lives of Montreal North residents. There are many ways you can help:
Thanks to your help, the CCESMN annually distributes over 15,000 food baskets, supports the education of hundreds of students and helps integrate new arrivals, thereby strengthening social cohesion in Montreal North.
